Metric Cubic Measurements

Cubic measurements are used to measure the volume of defined space.

Cubic measurements look at a space in three dimensions: length, width, and height. For example, the space occupied by a three dimensional cube will determine its volume.

If the cube measures 10cm x 10cm x 10cm, it will occupy 1000 cubic centimeters of space (cc).

If we could fill that 1000 cc space with a liquid, it would hold 1000 milliliters (ml).

Therefore 1000 cc = 1000 ml
Or 1 cc = 1 ml
