mySmartSim Reseller Division - Anticipates Growth Opportunities Despite Weak EconomymySmartSim developed their reseller division to increase their presence nationally and internationally by reselling their authoring tool, Worldwide Interactive Learning Designer (WILD), to the public. WILD is used to create interactive simulation and chapter-based courses for companies to effectively train their employees. Training is a necessity and despite the weak economy, thanks to mySmartSim, the training efforts of their customers will not be compromised.After attending the Channel Partners Conference and Exposition they developed strong relationships with many resellers in the telecommunications industry. They hope to recruit resellers in this field due to their success from 2007 to date. The article, “Poll: On the Money-Agents Report Gains Despite Economy,” by Khali Henderson and Cara Sievers, discusses the positive growth opportunities they have encountered this year despite the economic slowdown of 2008. “2008 revenue outlook shows only 2% of resellers in the telecom industry are behind their expectations, 22% are slightly behind expectations, 42% are on target with expectations, 14% slightly ahead of expectations, and 20% are ahead of expectations. Furthermore, 43 % of respondents project up to 25% percent revenue growth from 2007-2008, while an additional 41 percent expect between 25 % and 50 % from one year to the next,” (2008 p. 1) mySmartSim is excited to sign up resellers that have a great deal of focus and ambition.
