Project Management Certified in eLearning Instructional Design to Create Positive eLearning Experience for the Learner
mySmartSim recently certified Anne Messineo, Director of Project Management and David Albanese, Manager of Instructional Design in an effort to improve the staff knowledge of instructional design and enhance the methodology applied to mySmartSim courses. As a result, mySmartSim will be able to offer course designs, ranking them at the top for eLearning courseware.
After attending the two day training session in New York City, hosted by the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD), mySmartSim confirmed that they are right on track. Their quality of training will continue to provide improved education and greater retention rates for the U.S workforce. The article "Introduction to Instructional Design and the Addie Model," by Kevin Kruse highlights the instructional design approach in which individuals need to learn in an effective manner. "The instructional design approach provides a step-by-step system for the evaluation of students’ needs, the design and development of training materials and the evaluation of the effectiveness of the training intervention. “Our goal is to take what we have learned through research and the training session and apply it directly to the courses we develop. We are educating our team on different aspects of instruction design to provide a more effective experience for the learner,” said Anne Messineo, Director of Project Management, mySmartSimulations, Inc.
